Installation of Matlab Student version

I am struggling to install Matlab, student version and I keep getting the attached error. I have disabled my firewall but still its not installing. When it goes past the 1st stage of installation, the next step I get the other error message. Please help! am really desperate about this because I have a very urgent analysis to make using Matlab.

If you get an error in the 1st stage already, how can you proceed to the 2nd step? Did you follow the advice given in the link "this Support Article" already?

I set the proxy server to on on the 'automatically detect settings' in my trial and error. Thus when it went passed the 1st step then brought in the second error. Am completely ignorant of these software stuff...
