How can i graph a trajectory line between multiple location-points over an image?

hello researching cuttlefishes, im trying to present the trajectory and speed of these animals as a graph overlaying the scene image. at the moment i have a set of coordinates in that image and i would like to connect the dots with a line, with coresponding coloure to the speed at this section.
