Live data potting in Simulink R2019a

Since moving from R2017 to R2019, I'm not getting scopes (specifically time scopes) in SImulink to consistently display live data (i.e. during simulation). In some cases, I have to pause/stop the simulation to get the scopes to display the data. In other words, some scopes in the design plot live data just fine while others do not. Also, Simulation Data Inspector doesn't plot data unless the simulation is stopped entirely.
Are there any settings or conditions that could be causing this? Again, this was not a problem before I moved to R2019a.

Send us some screenshot of your results. May be, we will have a look and see what is happening.

It seems to me an installation issue. Try and install it again. Also I would like to suggest you, in MATLAB 2019a, under the simulation tab there is option named Pacing Option”. This feature will help you slow down a simulation to understand and observe the system's behavior.

Thanks for the help. Sorry for not responding sooner. At this point I've transitioned away from Simulink and to am doing things in m code for various reasons.
