That is common on Windows 7 64 bit systems, which does not have some of the 32 bit codecs installed by default.

Which codec does it need? If it is Indeo5, then you will not be able to get a 64 bit equivalent.

I accepted the answer. But can I use the Windows XP for that?

Some codecs are available in 64 bit versions; Indeo5 in particular is not. You can use 32 bit codecs from any 32 bit version of MATLAB (provided you have the codec installed.)
