The main model that I was working on cannot be saved anymore. The error message that pops up when I try to save is.
"An error or warning occurred during a callback while saving 'C:\Documents and Settings\H. Lai\Dekstop\My Dropbox\Master Thesis\Simulink\LV_debug_vehicle_model.mdl'. The previously saved version of this file (if any) has not been changed."

try to save it in another folder, what do you get?

Was that previous file readonly, which can happen if you copied from a CD?

It could be a problem due to conflict of 'character encoding systems' of your model & matlab version.
Refer below link for probable solution:
And refer section "Saving Models with Different Character Encodings".

None of these suggestions helped me. I had to reinstall matlab. Version - 2011b (32bit) OS - Windows 10
