How to buy Matlab 2012b for student?

How do I buy Matlab 2012b for student by online? I just tried it but there is no option for selecting Matlab 2012b, only Matlab 2012a.

Usually the b releases are not published as student versions. So if you cannot select a 2012b student version, this means, that there is no such version.

The sales staff can answer this question more accurately.

Historically there has only ever been one 'b' Student Version, about 5 years ago.

I've been holding off on purchasing Matlab this semester until 2012b came out due to the full support for Mountain Lion. Should I go ahead with 2012a hoping that it 'generally works'?
