Hi Lee,
It is my understanding that you want get the elapsed time for training your deep learning model.
When you train your model using trainNetwork(), a “Training Progress” window will appear that has all the necessary information.
You can find the “elapsed time” data under “Training Time” heading

But i can't catch the elapsed time data to save it to the variable.
So if I wanna save data, manually saving is the only way?

I understand that you want to save the elapsed time In a variable.
You can use stopwatch commands tic and toc to save the elapsed time of any function/code. For example,
>> tic;
trainNetwork(imdsTrain,layers,options);
elapsed = toc;
>> elapsed
elapsed =
81.4179
