Generating an answer slowly, letter by letter (e.g. 0.25 second per letter)

Hello, is it possible to generate an answer letter by letter + set up the duration? It is the kind of element they use in war movies. I have found one example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5mjto-VNTQ (from the very start of the video, in the lower left corner).

I would like to use it as a distraction for the user and simply as an interesting possibility. Something like 'your result is being computed right now...' & '...'.
