Problem with installing matlab r2012 with windows 8 64 bit?

i cannot install matlab with windows 8 64 bit..my installation vanishes after microsoft visual studio 2008 ..i dont know what to do ? i am a student and desperately needs this software..

As a general hint, when buying computer software it is useful to pay attention to the system requirements. For the MATLAB student version the system requirements are: 32-bit XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, 7. Do you really expect the product to then work on 64-bit Windows 8?
