Can I observe signal from a signal generator?

I have a signal generator on my table that generates sine, square and triangular waves. Can I obsereve FFT of those signals generated by signal generator on my computer, if I connect signal generator to my computer usin USB? Does Matlab has any functions to detect the input from sinal generator.
