bvp4c limitations

Hi, I want to know that can bvp4c solve all kinds of boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations or for example we can find an equation that is bvp but bvp4c cant solve it or it gives error? i want to know that when im solving an equation with bvp4c and it says :Unable to solve the collocation equations -- a singular Jacobian encountered does it mean that i cant solve this equation by bvp4c ?
