hello. How can i compute power series expansion using matlab function series(f,x), if im using Matlab version 7.9.0. (R2009b)? thank you...

Did you try looking at the documentation? http://www.mathworks.com/help/symbolic/symbolic-summation.html and particularly the Taylor's series summations http://www.mathworks.com/help/symbolic/taylor-series.html

yes,i looked at it. im gonna use taylor...it works for my version of Matlab.
