Hello,
I want to create a matrix by using a for-loop in a for loop, below you can see my programm. Can anyone tell me where my mistake is?
n=[3 10 30 100];
p = normcdf([-1 1 -2 2 -3 3]);
gamma(1)=p(2)-p(1)
gamma(2)=p(4)-p(3)
gamma(3)=p(6)-p(5)
c=zeros(3,4);
for j=1:4
for i=1:3
c[i][j]=tinv((1+gamma(i))/(2*n(j))-1));
end
end

Here is the first mistake
c[i][j]=tinv((1+gamma(i))/(2*n(j))-1));
Correct Way (MATLAB allows this way 2D indexing)
c(i,j)=....
There may be more coding issue, debug ..debug...great way of learning!
Good Luck

Read about Array indexing in MATLAB. You will index a matrix using A(i,j)
