How limit of importing data could be increased in parameter estimation for battery modelling ?

We are trying to import data(Time, Voltage, current)in MATLAB for battery modelling. But data exceeded the limit of 65500 and MATLAB gives error for the same. How limit for no of rows acceptable rows could be increased for data importing.

Can you please be more specific about where you are seeing this limitation? xlsread? Import data button in the interface? Database Toolbox?
