How to display the bones of a structure array?

Is there a nice way to display the bones of a structure array (graphically or text-based)? Something like the "patient array" figure here: http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_prog/ways-to-organize-data-in-structure-arrays.html

diginto is a step in the right direction, as is any2csv, but they're not quite what I want.
