Repeat a given input for a finite period of time/iterations in MATLAB/Simulink

Hi Everybody,

I have a control subsystem running in Simulink that activates if certain conditions are meet. When these conditions are meet the system reacts by outputting a value different from zero. What I would like to do is to have the system repeat the given output for en a finite period of time/interations regardless of the output following hereafter. After the specified period the system should reset and react to outputs in the same manner.

Any ideas regarding this? I am very new to Simulink, but have tried several things without any luck.
