Matlab Plotting a Cylinder not working

Hi I tried this as given in the documentation
plot(plot::Cylinder(1, [-3, 0, 0], [3, 0, 0]);
but I got the answer as
Error: Unexpected MATLAB operator.
Please help me as I am in urgent need of help. I am using Matlab R2012b and it has the above function in its documentation.
