How to get a variable slider in length?

Hello,

I have a volume of DICOM images which I show (with imshow) on an axes when I move a vertical slider. When I show another volume, the length of the images is different so I would need that the slider have the same length as the length of the image.

I know there is a property of the slider 'Position' where you can change the length of the slider. However I am having problems to relate that property with the size of the image I am showing (because I have the real size of the image).

Please I would be great if someone can help me with this. Thank you

Thank you Azzi but what I want to change is the physical length of the slider not the values of the slider.
