keeping point data (data cursor) on graph while zooming out

I'm trying to insert point's data on graph (with "data cursor" command), and zooming out erases the data window.
Any ideas how can I keep it? (before i'm getting cancer...)

If you zoom back in does the data window re-appear?
Is the problem just that the data window goes off the screen, or does it happen even when you only zoom a little?
If you zoom out and you want the data cursor window to remain, then should that window scale down in size the same way the data plot scales down, or should it stay the same size of data window even as the data plot scales?

No, it disappears completely.
After some time of failing miserably, I ended up using print-screen and paint...
