How to display internal signals in a Simulink Model?

6 views (last 30 days)
I have a hierarchical design which has 6 levels and uses model referencing. When i simulate from the top level, the scopes in the internal models are not getting populated with the data. Is there a way in which i can display the internal signals in the referenced models without bringing them out?

Is the Model reference block running in Accelerator mode? I would guess that if you changed it to Normal mode, the scopes will be populated.

Thanks. Yes, the referenced block is running in accelerator mode.I am using multiple instances of the same model in the design and the simulation throws an error if the mode is normal.

I don't think the Scopes actually run when the model is running in Accelerated mode, because Simulink generates a C-MEX S-function for the model for run-time execution, and Scopes are not part of that S-function AFAIK. I think you need to configure the internal signals for logging if you'd like to examine them. For example, you could configure Test Points on the signals of interest.
