How can I detect ground floor in videos obtained using Kinect?

Hi,

I am using Kinect and Image Acquisition Toolbox to obtain coordinates of skeletons on the video, but I also need to know how far the skeletons are from the ground floor (I can obtain the coordinates on how far the skeletons are from the camera, but that is not exactly what I need).

Is there any built in function in Image Processing or Image Acquisition Toolbox to detect ground floor? If not, any suggestions on how I can do it?
