Binarize image with threshold

Hi,

Using Mathematica I was able to binarize a image with the following command

a1=Binarize[a,0.7]

Does anyone know how i would apply the same threshold of 0.7 using Matlab?

You can use graythresh() and bwthresh() which use 0-1, but I think it's simpler to just do

binaryImage = grayImage < grayLevelThreshold;

where grayLevelThreshold is just the regular threshold (0-255 or 0-65535) rather than anormalized number in the range 0-1.
