Downloading weather (wind speed) data in matlab

Hi there,

I am interested in downloading weather data into matlab or setting up at datafeed feed to a website. Specifically I looking to download foretasted wind speeds in a certain area from somewhere. This is a very general question but would anybody be able to tell me if this is possible and perhaps point in the right direction or help me out in terms of how you could go about this.
