How can I reconstruct 3D lumen from 2D corss secion

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello, I want to reconstruct a tubular structure from a projection. I obtained the centerline by streroscopic rconstruction but I don't have any idea on how to get the stucture lumen from cross sections. Can someone help me please.

Your description is more than a bit vague...
...but I'll guess anyways - that you have a tube where you assume the volume emission rate has a cylindrical variation only depending on the radius that you want to estimate from some kind of image. For that problem you should be able to get the solution from the inverse abel transform. A recent file exchange submission for this (I haven't checket its quality yet) is: Abel-inverse-Abel-algorithms

Thank you but I model a vessel by cylinder and I want to find the 3D radii vector (orientation) of vessel from 2D radii of one projection.
