Excel link and objects

Hi, I wonder whether it's possible to use the Excel spreadsheet link AND an object oriented approach. E.g., from a matrix of data in Excel, call a function onto another cell that elaborates the data contained in the matrix and outputs an "object" onto that cell and this in turn can be picked up as input from another cell and so on...
