Problem 43282. Analyze observation data
Suppose you have the following data (A,B,C) in three-column format.
A B C -------------------------- t=1 2.2 2.6 2.4 t=2 2.4 2.8 2.2 t=3 2.6 2.7 2.4 t=4 2.7 2.6 2.5 t=5 2.6 2.5 2.6 t=6 2.5 2.4 3.0
Write a function to find and return the maximum value from each column as well as its time index. For the supplied example, A has a maximum value of 2.7 when t=4, B has a maximum of 2.8 when t=2, and C has a maximum of 3.0 when t=6. Therefore, the function should output:
m = [2.7 2.8 3.0] tm = [4 2 6]
