Hybrid Hamming–Kaiser Window FIR Filter in MATLAB
Version 1.0.0 (4.67 KB) by
Kamalesh E
This project implements a Hybrid Adaptive Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Filter that combines FIR, IIR, and adaptive filtering techniques.
This project is about designing a Hybrid Hamming–Kaiser Window FIR Filter in MATLAB. The idea is to bring together the strengths of both the Hamming window (which reduces sidelobes) and the Kaiser window (which gives flexibility to control the filter shape). By combining them, the filter achieves cleaner frequency separation and better performance compared to using a single window method.
The MATLAB code provided helps you design the filter, visualize its frequency response, and compare it with standard approaches. It can be a useful reference for students learning digital signal processing, researchers working on optimized filter design, or anyone applying FIR filters in areas like audio processing, biomedical signals, or wireless communication.
