This work presents a MATLAB-based simulation study on the application of classical controller design techniques for linear time-invariant (L
The simulation investigates the design workflow of classical controllers using a representative LTI plant model. The process begins with the open-loop analysis of the system to evaluate its inherent stability, transient response, and steady-state characteristics. Root locus and frequency-response plots are used to understand pole–zero interactions and to identify feasible regions for controller compensation.
