Specialized Power Systems (SPS) Conversion Add-On
The SPS Conversion Add-On helps you upgrade Specialized Power Systems models to use Simscape™ Electrical™ blocks.

The add-on includes new functions similar to existing built-in functions in Simscape Electrical software but with new features and support for earlier releases of MATLAB®, starting from R2024b.
The spsconversion.assistant function helps you replace the Specialized Power Systems library blocks in the currently open model with Simscape Electrical library blocks, while preserving the parameter values and connections between blocks. The SPS Conversion Add-On can now convert:
- Six additional blocks from the Specialized Power Systems library
- Models that use a referenced configuration set
- Subsystem reference models
Converted models now simulate without the built-in conversion assistant or add-on installed.
The spsconversion.findBlocks function finds all Specialized Power Systems library blocks inside a model. You can now restrict the conversion to a subset of blocks that match a specified filter criterion.
