A general-purpose function that calculates the PDF of the homodyned-k distribution over the input range xdata defined by the following parameters:
x(1) = alpha, effective mean number of scatterers
x(2) = s, envelope of the coherent signal
x(3) = sigma, mean energy of the noncoherent scatterers
