Bit Packet Analyzer

The Bit Packet Analyzer can be used to analyze bit streams for repeating patterns (e.g. preamble)

You are now following this Submission

The analyzer cuts the streaming data into packets of user defined size and plots them side by side. If the packet size is right and the stream contains repeating patterns you should see the pattern picture clearly, the the size is wrong or there is no repeating patterns you will not see the pattern.

The archive contains 3 analyzer variants:
1) A MATLAB function to be called programatically
2) GUI version
3) Simulink block

It also contains some auxiliary material:
- MATLAB script example. The example generates some random data with constant size and repeating preamble + pilot.
- Simulink model exmaple. The model generates bit stream with similar properties as the MATLAB example script.
