Three optical elements are supported: wave plates (any retardation), linear polarizers and circular polarizers. The calculations are based on Jones calculus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jones_calculus).
Incoming light must be polarized. Polarizations are entered as vectors and can be linear, circular or elliptical (see examples in the preamble of the code).
This GUI was built without GUIDE.
