This function is able to calculate the co-factor for both symbolic and numeric matrices. In addition, it is an updated version of what proposed by Angelica Ochoa.
To overcome the limitations of the Matlab built-in function det(A) when handling with big symbolic matrices, an in-house function to calculate the determinant is implemented.
