Tektronix: RSA 6000 Spectrum Analyzer - IQ Data Capture
MATLAB is a software environment and programming language with over 1000000 users and supports communication with Tektronix instruments through its Instrument Control Toolbox. MATLAB is used to extend the capabilities of Tektronix instrument, including creating and executing custom analysis and visualization routines to apply to live or recorded Tektronix RTSA signals.
This MATLAB example shows you how to connect to an Tektronix RSA6000 series spectrum analyzer to setup and acquire or capture IQ data. This function has been tested using Tek RSA6106A and MATLAB Instrument Control Toolbox v3.5 (R2014a) but may work with other Tektronix spectrum analyzers with little or no modification.
.
Note that this example also requires Tektronix VISA to be installed on your PC or instrument where MATLAB is installed. MATLAB and Instrument Control Toolbox are also required to be installed.
