This program easily explains how a Single phase Half wave controlled rectifier using R-Load can be coded using Matlab programming. One can enter the firing angle (alpha) and number of cycles, then we can get the waveforms of input voltage, output voltage, Output current and Voltage across the thyristor.
Also it will calculate the Average Output voltage,RMS Output voltage,Rectification efficiency,Form factor and Ripple factor.
