3 D plot of ADCP data containing all information.
Please go through these steps:
Steps:
1. Generate a summary file from the VMT software. Folder Transect_Summary_file contains those file. It contains transec1.xlxs to transec14 files.
(Please visit: https://pubs.er.usgs.gov/publication/70038462. If you face any problem let me know I will help you to install VMT GUI.)
2. The files tran1.xlxs to tran14.xlxs and transect1.xlxs to transect14.xlxs are extracted from the excel files transec1 to transec14 contained in Transect_Summary_file (available at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-3mhGBsoVjkDQeGBPRemgirII8Gwtuvo/view?usp=sharing).
3. Once we extract the files in step 2, then we can run the generate_3D.m file to plot.
4. Once the figure pop-ups in a separate window, it can be viewed from different angles by using the Rotate 3D option, as illustrated in folder 3D plots.
Note: This code was written to plot information from 14 transects taken at the Ganga River. It can be generalised to work for any number of the transects. If you are interested, then we can develop a GUI for the same.
Also, in no event shall the contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages caused out of the use of this code.
If you face any problem, then please feel free to contact.
