Getting suitable PID-parameter setting using common design rules for delayed processes.
Implemented are the most common design rules for PID-controllers, valid for delayed systems with and without balance.
Based on knowledge of the process step response various design rules can be compared due to their control behaviour.
To find the best fit for the given application the control response of the closed loop is simulated and displayed with additional characteristics like overshoot and settling time.
