The four-machine system used in the simulations. The system was divided into two areas, in each of which there were two machines. To investigate the impact of the WT with different controllers such as the optimized PI controller on the transient stability performance of the power system, the four-machine system was modified by replacing generator G3 with a wind farm (WF).
