Compressibility factor, Molar Volume and Pressure EOS Solver
Includes the following Equations of States (eos) or models: van der Waals (vdW), Redlich-Kwong (RK), Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK), Peng-Robinson (PR), Pitzer-correlated Virial (truncated up to 3rd coeff.), classical Virial (truncated up to 3rd coeff.), and Rackett (for saturated liquids). The first program solves the compressibility factor (Z) by Method of Successive Substitution (MOSS) or Fixed-point iteration (iterative) approach. Then the molar volume is solved. The second program solves for the pressure. The input data required for the 1st program are Pressure, Temperature, Critical Pressure and Temperature (if applicable), Virial coefficients (if applicable), and acentric factor (if applicable). For the 2nd program, it requires Molar volume, temperature, Critical Pressure and Temperature (if applicable), Virial coefficients (if applicable), and acentric factor (if applicable). It includes documentation or examples on how to use the programs. The equations used for both programs are all based on the ones presented by Smith, Van Ness, Abbott, and Swihart in their book "Introduction to Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics (8th ed.)."
