This GUI converts an image of a curve into data points relatively quickly, even if the original image contains grid in the background.
Three different methods can be used depending on the curves to be scanned:
• Black & White plots with grids and/or legend
• Color curves
• Point by point

Just copy all files in a directory and run scan2data. Help file describes various functions and menu

Has been tested on Matlab R2012b and R2019b
This app is using clipboardimage.m (Saurabh Kumar, https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/14584-clipboardimage), and datalabel.m
