These codes simulate 3D optical wavefront modulation to an arbitrary-shaped 3D intensity beam using a diffractive optical element, as explained in: Tatiana Latychevskaia and Hans-Werner Fink "Inverted Gabor holography principle for tailoring arbitrary shaped three-dimensional beams" Sci. Rep. 6, 26312 (2016), https://doi.org/10.1038/srep26312. The provided example creates a light beam curve in a shape of 3D cosine.
