Advances in Wireless Communications
In recent releases, MATLAB® and Simulink® capabilities in the area of wireless communications have started to include standard-compliant Long-Term Evolution (LTE) system models and interfaces to a growing number of software-defined radio (SDR) platforms. In this talk, Daniel and Neil give an overview of the new LTE Toolbox™ and the Communications Toolbox™ SDR support packages. Through practical worked examples they demonstrate how to:
- Build standard-compliant models of LTE and LTE-Advanced communications systems
- Prototype communications systems through interfaces to SDR platforms
- Transmit and receive live RF signals directly from MATLAB and Simulink
- Generate and analyse real-world LTE signals
