      In this webinar, Ricardo G. Sanfelice, a control systems Professor at University of Arizona, introduces the Hybrid Equations (HyEq) Toolbox.  This toolbox allows for efficient simulation of hybrid dynamical systems that are represented by:

      • Differential equations describing the flows
      • Difference equations describing the jumps

      About the Presenter:  Ricardo G. Sanfelice is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, University of Arizona. He is the recipient of the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER award, the Air Force Young Investigator Research Award (YIP), and the 2010 IEEE Control Systems Magazine Outstanding Paper Award.  His research interests include modeling, stability, robust control, observer design, and simulation of nonlinear and hybrid systems with applications to power systems, aerospace, and biology.
