Shivaram NV, Ather Energy
Ather Energy has set out to make a change in the way people perceive electric vehicles. Everyone knows that electric transport is the future, but lack of good products in that space in our country is generally hindering faster adoption of electric vehicle technology. A good product has multiple dimensions that need to be met across performance, user experience, and customer service. The Ather 450, along with their charging infrastructure Point, is the first product out of their factory that looks to meet these dimensions.
The scooter, along with charging infrastructure, creates a complex ecosystem of devices where the interaction between these need to be handled well to optimize performance. The company knew the complexity of the system well enough early on, and for them, it was an easy decision to use MathWorks products. The physical model of the system and the algorithm developed went a long way in helping Ather Energy understand and optimize the performance faster.
