Performing Power System Studies, Part 2: Building Network Models Automatically
From the series: Performing Power System Studies
Power system network descriptions are typically contained within Excel files, text files, databases, and other power system file formats. In this presentation, we show how MATLAB® and Simulink® tools can be used to read data from external sources, and automate the creation of power system network models. The models can be readily configured to allow playback of measured data, to run Monte-Carlo studies, and to vary the fidelity of component models.
