Simulink for the Analysis of Self-Interference Cancellation in Full-Duplex Transceiver
Dr. Radha Krishna Ganti, IIT Madras
Full-Duplex communications is a lucrative way for doubling the available system bandwidth. However, Self-interference is a major impediment for realizing a FD node. The interference has to be cancelled at RF, analog domain and the baseband. This requires simulation of the entire RF chain along with impairments. In this session, we use SimRF to simulate the RF chain and also demonstrate the cancellation using a combination of algorithms in the base band and RF units.
