The Matrix 1Norm block computes the 1norm or maximum columnsum of an MbyN input matrix A.
$$y={\Vert A\Vert}_{1}=\underset{1\le j\le N}{\mathrm{max}}{\displaystyle \sum _{i=1}^{M}\left{a}_{ij}\right}$$
Equivalent MATLAB^{®} code is given by:
y = max(sum(abs(A)))
