Sine Wave with Query Instrument

Hello folks,

I'm carrying out a test using a loop back of serial communication. I'm using a sine wave function of matlab and passing it through the "to instrument" block, and I want to get back this signal in the query instrument, as it is shown in the file attached. But it is not working. I don't know if it's right.. I wonder for some help.
