How can i work with random images for example human hand?

Hello, My name is Kamlesh. I am working on a project namely "Hand modes". In this project, I am making a security system which will work on human hand. By using hand posters I want to provide a security. I am using here Image processing to detect hand posters. For this i want to take help of Matlab. I want to take help in this. Thank you
