Hi,
I want to calculate the signal arriving at an antenna array with the method „collectPlaneWave“ from Phased Array System Toolbox http://www.mathworks.com/help/phased/ref/phased.replicatedsubarray.collectplanewave.html : .
There are two parameters in this method: X and FREQ. My question is, the frequency information in already included in „X“ (or not?), why the second parameter „FREQ“?
Can anyone help me with it?

Hi Owen,
I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly but the frequency refers to the signal's carrier frequency, not how fast the numbers change inside the signal. So X does not provide that information.
HTH,
Honglei
